16. Cabbage and Carrot Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, add the cabbage, carrot, and enough water to cover the vegetables.
  2. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Season with cumin seeds, turmeric, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Blend the soup if you prefer a smoother texture. Serve hot.
